This blog explores changes in the energy industry from an insider’s perspective as it transitions from the old centralized utility model to the new paradigm of distributed generation.
This blog was previously called Inside the Housing Evolution and focused on energy efficient homes. Ultimately, it’s all linked. Soon, every building will have the potential to generate, store, and sell energy. Welcome to the era of the transactive grid – the greatest shift the electricity sector has seen in over 100 years!

And I actually do have 2 questions for you if it’s allright.

Could it be just me or does it look like a few of the
remarks come across like they are left by brain dead people?
:-P And, if you are writing on other social sites, I would like to keep
up with everything fresh you have to post. Would you list of
all of all your social sites like your Facebook page, twitter feed, or linkedin profile?

    Hi there,
I don’t keep a Facebook page or Twitter feed. My Linkedin profile just re-posts the articles I write in my blog. Unfortunately I’m just to busy to keep up a very active social media life! Thanks for the interest though. In terms of the seemingly brain-dead comments… I actually think that the generic comments are computer-generated spam that are sent out to random blogs in order to create links which increase a website’s page ranking on google. So yes, some of the posters may literally have no brain! I only figured this out recently and I’ve stopped posting comments that don’t specifically reference the article that I published.
